Anybody on here know anything about the Strano lowering springs? I'm thinking about ordering a set. Will they handle pretty well for normal driving. Are they firm enough to be uncomfortable or just good handling springs. Is a 1.25" drop enough to cause problems with dragging on everything? I've already got the Konis to put on. I'm either going to order lowering springs or do the "heater hose mod. Suggestions or comments please.

Do you have SFCs? If so, watch out how low you put your car ... I have problems with my 'maro in the driveway ...

I have no input on the lowering springs.

Everything I've read about them so far has been othing but positive. Sam put them on his car that he took to race and won... again... lol I'm considering getting rid of my BMR springs in favor of Strano's.

Remember how low my T/A sat, if so raise it up about 1/2in. I had SFC's on it and had no scraping problems. The headers where lower than the SFCs and they never scraped. The Strano springs have a 500lbs spring rate in front and 150lbs back(rears are a progressive spring (150-180)). It should be forgiving (not abusive) for daily driving and handle AlOT better than stock. I'd buy them but I'm still sold on the LGM G-2 springs....they served me WELL (2 KotHs wins in a row ). If you do buy the Strano Springs, when you put in the rear springs make sure that you remove the aluim spacers between the bumpstops and chassis. Hope this helps out.

They're Eibach springs but I don't know their spring rates. I've got a set but I went linear 600fr and 150r w/ 3rd bilsteins. I liked the way Roy's handled and copied his setup to a degree. It's not bad at all and won't rattle your teeth out etc. How much of a drop are planning to do? I had to have my front bilsteins piston shortened since I go slammed and custom revalved. Don't worry about the SFC either Jerry. UNLESS you go BMR or SLP's they're stuff hangs something terrible. Go KBDD's or LG's and you'll never see the things like Val said.

I have the Konis on my car, lowered by the shocks front and did the heater hose mod on the rear (about 1" drop). The combination of the stock springs and the aftermarket shocks is firm but not uncomfortable at all. Of course I also have a 35mm Strano front swaybar that helps and KBDD SFCs.

Thanks guys, I think I'll order them. I already got the Koni's from Sam but haven't installed them yet, so I think I'll order the springs and do it all at once. Hopefully it won't ride too bad. Guess I'll find out. I may have to try the AutoX next year just for grins.

Well, I ordered them so guess I have work to do. Anyone have suggestions on what kind of panhard rod to get. If I get one with rod ends, how bad are they about rattling. Suggestions appreciated.

I have the Strano PHR with rod ends, and it rattles just a bit on bumpy roads... but only there...

Got my springs in and I have some good news from the German guys who want to lower their car. The springs are made by Vogtland to Sam's specs. They are TUV approved. The TUV sign is on the box. Hopefully I'll get them on this weekend.

The BMR adjustable panhard rod is a good one. I would get it with the poly bushings though. They also have grease fittings on them. I would not get the solid ends because they will make noise. I bought mine from Thunder Racing. It is adjustable in the center of the rod.

I run solid rods on my entire car. It's all in the quality of the rod. Mine don't make a sqeak.
