I would like to see a spindle mount on one of those. I wonder what the weight of that thing is anyhow?

looks like a rough ride to me with that much tire - sorry but I am out by age. my old back bones just do not anymore support me bending down for the cleaning after a cruise through the towns construction areas, and my old heart would not support surviving a crack in $30k rims either

Jee
What do you mean heat resistant?
Its polycarbonate, that stuff melts just like plastic .Not to mention , in order to get the strength necessary , that wheel combination will weigh close to 150 lbs if not more . That is a lot of unsprung weight.

I reckon the ride quality should be as good as an old 18th century coach ...

That's not even tires! They just cut the tread off of old tires and maybe glued them on.
Craziness!

Nobody can prove to me that that POS is safe for street use ...
OTOH, this could solve traffic problems ... a compact car should fit underneath ... more cars per meter of street
