Fedex uses dimensional weight. Once you pay for the space on the plane it does not matter the weight..

Thanks Roy!!! I did not even think about the during breakage piece collateral damage coulda been costly? COA1 Would the solid axels prevent it? Or do I need to replace the rear during build up. Shifts will be @ 6800 RPM's COA 2 I convert to Auto and keep what I have with manual shifts around 6700 and stall speed of 3000 lock up conveter? COA3 build a engine for low 11's and run drag radials posting low 12's high 11's. launch at 3000 rpms max. I would like to Road Race and Auto-x when complete not just a 1/4 mile wonder. Would you be interested in the Torsen diff I have? Thanks!!!

The solid axles will do nothing to help if a C-clip lets loose....

If your spending the money to do the build-up, just convert to c-clip eliminators. Then you have piece of mind.

V8Zspeed
The c-clip eliminators are only recommended for 1/4 mile work and limited street driving. They will fail if used for road racing or auto crossing.
The two best bets are the GM 12 bolt or the Ford 9inch.
I am partial to the 9inch because it is some what stronger and diff changes are a snap.
