yeah it was fun , toobad you live allmost 900km's away (round trip) or we could do it more often.
there was this d.a.m.n. trafficjam we got stuck into :evil:

finally got some work done again on the v8 project
the left door sill (?) was in very bad shape :cry:

too bad you can't get any decent bodymetal anymore for these cars, i had to scrap another car to get a good doorsill :cry:

yeah well if i could buy the car i like, i would do that, but unfortunately i'm not in that position :cry:
so the only way to get a car with some performance you have to build it yourself
i REALLY don't like the old crusty bodies, when money was not so tight, i'd propably have a bmw (i don't even like bmw that much) E30 m3 with a decent engine, with something like a ls7 or a boosted M5 engine

got some more work done, now all i need to do is to test it under pressure to make sure it is absolutely leak free

i really don't like the VERY small amount of oil for such a big engine.
most of my 4 bangers even have more oil in them :?

now theres about 1.2 liter more oil in it :wink:

now i only have make a fitting in the front timing cover for an oil return from an external device, so i can put the engine together finally

yes it will be baffeled.
unfortunately there is some distortion of the pan, so i think i might have to get it skimmed nice and flat again, don't want any tension when i put it on

i finally got some bolt-on parts for the engine by mail today :D
initially i wanted a procharger d1 but i think this one is allso quite capable of blowing my stock motor (pistons) to pieces...

did some more work on a radiator mount and removable front

this is as big a radiator as will fit as far as height and width are concerned...
at the most all i can do in the future is have a same one made which would have a much thicker web

well finally the camcover is ready to be installed, i added a oil return for a supercharger allready to it, so i can leave the engine as is when i install one later on..
