the other day was the first time i got the car out on the Autobahn since i pulled it out of storage and put in the chip from PCMforless and it was acting kinda funny! crusing at 90mph i was sitting at about 3000rpm, now i cant remember if that is normal or if my TQ is messing up on me. car will still hit 140 no problem.
issue 2, after driving for a bit (till the car is warm) the trans will start to hold shifts mainly 1 to 2 shift. and if i am crusing down the road (50-60mph) and i floor it to pass the car will try to downshift into 2ed and redline then hop in to 3ed.
all of it is kinds hard to explain but any in put will help! or could these problems be caused by the new tune? i'm really hoping its not the trans taking a poop!
thats what the trans is doing, it should not have any thing to do with the tune since the trans is not an electronic one. but it dose have 170,000miles on it. and how far are them places from bitburg/spang?

fluid seams fine....i have a new filter/pick up im going to put in along with a flush, but just have not had time to do it yet. and the trans has not been serviced since before i bought the car in 05. the issue #2 up there is what is bugging me the most. there are times it will hold 1st till 4000+ rpm and this is normal acceleration.

Have you checked with Mark in Binsfield to see if he could do the tranny rebuild/upgrade for you?

You,ve got the fabled 93. Swapped the stock chip back in. It takes less than 2 minutes to do and you will be able to confirm if there is even an issue. PCM4less probably did some transmission tuning that just is not working with your car.

Mark's number is 0657596066. If you go up there or call up there be sure to talk to Mark. There is another guy that works up there that can speak really good english, but I can't remember his name right now. If you can't find it let me know, I'll let you follow me out there. It's just a few minutes away from Spang.
Address is: Werkstatt Zentrum Binsfield (Auto Service Center) Industriestrasse 1-3, 54518 Binsfield

Yes I have dealt with them...they did the axle seal swap on my 12 bolt. I had heard great things about him before from a guy that had a bada$$ corvette (he left right after I got here). But no, I don't know their hours. I have been there till like 530 or 6 before. You could give them a shot, they do great work. Just drive down and talk to Mark or call him and see what they can do for you. I need to go down there, so if you want to go you can follow me down there.

well so far so good with the place in Binsfeild! took my car in on monday to have them trouble shoot my trans and ended up being a dieing valve body resulting in lots of F'ed up hyd. pressures and slowly killing it. originally estimated around 1500Euro for a rebuild, but called mark today and he was saying he has come across a used but good 700R4! and it will probably be much cheaper then getting mine rebuilt. so im hoping for the best!
