Do your cars have enough power to do them burnouts?

I'm pretty sure I can pull one off... I wish I could post the pic's Howie and I took two weeks ago from over here at Bitburg... Securtiy Forces said they could see the smoke all the way back at the base (we were at the old base) for all of you familiar with the area

I would stop after the first tire popped. I would not want to destroy the wheel. If dave would go until both tires popped and make sparks fly he would win.

That's a little extreme there Bruce. I have gone until there was nothing but steel belts all the way across. That was before I came overseas.

I talked to Tony If you can catch him in the morning it is better. I think you should ask him what you should do? If it was me I would go with a 383 the clearances are not as crucial and a new block could be had for a little nothing and I bet the entire package is cheaper and stronger. The bang for the buck is 383. You have already picked up 33 CI the next 13 are weakening the block I know it can and has been done but you may want to drive it to my house sometime Abahn driving@ 100+ is hard on a engines. I want you to get what makes you happy I am just giving my .02 cents and I hope it helps.

He told you morning? I caught him finally and he said 5:00pm. If the 396 engine is that sensitive then forget about it. No seriously, they will both need clearancing, that is why I decided to let the experts build the short block. The cost is maybe $400 and that is machining and the 4-bolt conversion. I'm pretty certain I want the 396.
