I don't know why you guys have such a hard time on the LS1's. Coil per cylinder and I've seen the wires. For the header guys it should be a snap. Daddy you being stk it would take a whole lot longer but not as long as you guys. 2hrs max and that's just goofin off. Once you start playin w/ your car you'll learn all the nuances and such. My car is stripped there for it's really easy to do.

I don't really have a problem with mine, but since I had never seen the LT1 plug setup, Jason did it himself (mostly), but he was also smoking and joking the whole time!

LS1 Driver side plugs and wires 15 min.
Passeger side (use a stubby ratchet and 1 1/2in extension) first 3 plugs and wires from up top 15 min. last plug from underneath the car 5 min.
It's all about the tools. This is how long it took me to do mine. IT was my first time doing them. Headers would of probably made it alot easier but I don't have them so I'm not quite sure! So 40 mins and all the beer I can drink, John take that deal and run.....I would!!

Well, the job was a PITA to me We had a lot of fun though! Has anyone here heard of or used the Sidewinder wrench? Seems it would help out a hell of a lot![/url]

Got one. It works good AFTER the bolts/nuts are loose, like finger loose. If it's too tight, you can damage it. But once it's loose enough, it spins them right off quickly. It works great where a speeder bar doesn't fit. Keep in mind that the head of the ratchet is bigger/thicker than other "normal" ratchets. Almost twice as thick...
It was worth the $20 that I paid for it over 10 years ago.
