LOL there is a right up im hot rodding that breaks it down. So why not use it in the normal setup, I guess it would make too much boost.

Well you could and make more efficient power with it. A good wastegate will keep it out of the overboost situation.

Methanol is cheaper than Nitrous ,plus it has a higher octane rating than gasoline.

I think 100 hapees per every 5 lbs of boost would be more accurate. The level of experience required to install that system is very minimal indeed.

Have a look at the "TURBO LS1 TUNNEL VIDEO" here
http://www.jlturbo.com/eyecandy.htm
Sounds pretty mean, also outside the tunnel.

What i don´t like is the oil feed line (and the entire turbo) that close to the ground... hitting something could get really expensive or loosing all your oil through the feed line within seconds/minutes...

And why didn´t they squeeze an intercooler in there somewhere?
The pressurized tube from the turbo to the intake is several meters anyway, so the pressure drop should be neclectable and you would get some extra power with that...

They are saying that the air temperture cools by the time it gets to the intake. Makeing the need for the intercooler obsolete so you would be gettining 5-7 lbs of cool boost.

I would stay away from Methanol. The stuff is very hydrophobic (absorbs water out of the air) and then your car runs like sh*t. Worst however is that unburnt methanol has a habit of seeping past the rings and thinning out your engine oil. Nothing like a set of spun bearings to poop on your party.
