While I was at the NCOA, I took the 'Maro for the last two weeks. It was as much fun as I thought it would be driving over the speedbumps. Anyway, last weekend, I drove from B-burg to the golf course at Ramstein. 18 holes of aggravation later, I get back into the car. When the clutch pedal was in, I noticed a slight scraping noise. I can only assume that it is a bad throw out (release) bearing. So my question to you guys is: what would be the best clutch package to get? I don't have any plans to break into the engine any time soon. I was thinking of an LS6 package, since it would fit like o.e. I already had the tranny down once for the slave cylinder. That leads me to another problem. I had to weld the nuts on my BMR torque arm. The o.e. bolts were too short to go all the way through. Does anyone know a good place to get new mount bolts? So in summary: Best clutch for mild horsepower upgrades?
Torque arm bolts that will go through BMR t.a.?
Thanks!

The LS6 clutch set is a good setup. I've had it for 3 years of abuse on my car.

As for longer bolts you might try a Wuerth industries outlet .

Personally I have a Spec Stage III that I got to replace my LS6 that came on the car. The Stage III feels just like stock, but grabs about a million times harder. I love mine to the point I'll never go back to anything less than this. :D

I replaced my stage III with a ZO6 clutch. It doesn't grab near as hard, but that is probably why it lasts. :)

Yeah, my factory ZO6 clutch lasted 55k miles, and my first Stage III lasted only 18k with less abuse... but man did it GRAB! :D
